Biscuit Date Delight
Ingredients
150 grams plain flour
½ egg
1 gram baking powder
7 grams corn flour
18 grams milk powder
75 grams icing sugar
125 grams butter
100 grams dates
Icing sugar for garnishing
Salt to taste
Method
In a bowl, add 150 grams plain flour, ½ beaten egg, 125 grams butter, 75 grams icing sugar, 7 grams corn flour, 18 grams milk powder, 1 grams baking powder and salt to taste and mix together. Knead to form fine dough. Shape small portions of dough into square biscuits and coat with chopped dates. Place on a baking tray and bake in a pre heated oven at 200 c for 6 to 7 minutes. Garnish with icing sugar and serve delightful Biscuit Date Delight.
